BACKGROUND
Where we come from, what we believe in!
Our owner, Annie Bradshaw, has always been involved in the gymnastics world. Growing up on the East Coast, she competed in competitive JO (dev. program), prep optional (xcel) and for her high school gymnastics team. After highschool, Annie attended Brigham Young University - Idaho, where she pursued a degree in public education. While in Idaho, she also began her coaching career, soon realizing that coaching was her passion. After graduating with her BA, rather than finding a career in her field of study, Annie followed that passion, fueled by her roots in the sport, and has been coaching gymnastics ever since.
After getting married and settling in Fresno, Annie continued to coach, developing the dream of owning and operating her own facility. She furthered her education both formally and informally. She obtained a Masters Degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. She attended regional and national Gymnastics Congress events, eventually submitting her name to present. She was chosen to do so, and has presented at Gymnastics Congress across the US.
After years of saving, planning and preparing, everything came together for Annie to open her own facility. Fresno Gymnastics Center is a life-long work-in-progress, that will continue to grow and serve the greater Fresno area long after its doors are opened. The values that students and staff will learn will impact them throughout their lives. It is Annie's dream not only to teach, but to build relationships with her staff, students, parents and community that will stand the test of time. It is her greatest desire to help others learn everything that gymnastics has taught her - that believing in yourself, working hard to achieve your goals, and following your passion can help form self worth in a way that no outside factors can restrict. And, if you're not having fun all the while, you're not doing it right.
Current accolades include presenting at multiple regional and national USA Gymnastics Congresses, certified level 7/8 gymnastics judge, meet director, CN Director of Sport, Wife to a loving husband, and Mom to the best two girls and future gymnasts.
